MODEL BUILDINGS

This page illustrates some model buildings I have constructed over the last few years as a model can often be a good way if displaying a colour scheme, esecially if no preserved buildings exist in that livery.

MODEL

A MYERS STATION BUILDING IN LBSCR LIVERY SHOWING THE HALF TIMBERING WITH WHICH THESE BUILDINGS WERE FIRST BUILT; AS IT LET IN THE DAMP, ALL EXISITING BUILDINGS OF THIS TYPE HAVE HAD THE UPPER STOREY HUNG WITH TILES CHANGING THE APPEARANCE DRAMATICALLY.

APPLEBY STATION BUILDING IN BR(LMR) RED AND CREAM COLOURS.

DUDBRIDGE STATION BUILDING IN EARLY LMS COLOURS, WHICH WAS THE MR LIVERY APART FROM THE LMS POSTER BOARDS.

BODMIN NORTH LSWR STATION IN BR (W) CREAM AND BROWN AS IT WAS IN THE LATE 1950's.

A GER SIGNAL BOX IN LNER GREEN AND CREAM, AS NEWLY PAINTED.

A GWR SIGNAL BOX IN LIGHT AND DARK STONE WITH THE STANDARD BLACK & WHITE NAMEBOARD AND RED FIRE BUCKETS.
